Pampering your pets, one tail at a time
We want to be sure that your pet is as healthy as possible. Below is a list of food/items that your dog and cat should never eat. If you find that your pet has come in contact, or has eaten, any of the below items, contact your local vet and/or your local poison control center immediately!
Items to not feed your dog:
Alcoholic beverages, avocado, bones from fish, poultry or other meat sources, cat food, chocolate, coffee, tea and other caffeine, citrus oil extracts, fat trimmings, fish (raw, cooked or canned), grapes, raisins, currants, hops, human vitamin supplements containing iron, macadamia nuts, milk or other dairy products, moldy, spoiled food, garbage, mushrooms, onions, garlic (raw, cooked or powder), persimmons, pits from peaches and plums, raw meat, rhubarb leaves, salt, string, sugary foods, table scraps, tobacco, yeast dough and xylitol (artificial sweetener).
Items to keep away from your cat and dog:
Rodent poisons, antifreeze, alcohol, painkillers, disinfectant, cleaners, insecticides, pesticides, slug and snail poisons,
Plants that are poisonous to your cat:
Azalea, Caladium, Christmas Rose, Clematis, Delphinium, Dieffenbachia, Ivy, Lupine, Mistletoe, Oleander, Philodendron, Poinsettia, Cherry Laurel, Rhododendron, Solanum, Sweet Pea.
